5 x 10^11 VP Ad-RSV-nt-βGal is an Ad5-based adenovirus containing a 4.2 kb-long LacZ expression cassette in place of the E1 region, oriented from left to right relative to the adenovirus genome. The E. coli β-galactosidase coding sequence is fused to a SV40 nuclear localization signal and is under the control of a RSV promoter and a SV40 polyadenylation signal. Both E1 (3.1 kb) and E3 (2.8 kb) regions are deleted.
