Ad5.CMV-GFP DNA is the plasmid-isolated genome of an Ad5-based adenovirus containing a CMV-GFP-bGHpA expression cassette in place of the E1 region, oriented from right to left relative to the adenovirus genome.  The Dasher GFP coding sequence (ATUM # FPB-27-609) is under the control of a human cytomegalovirus (CMV) promoter and a bovine growth hormone polyadenylation signal.  Both E1 (3.1 kb) and E3 (2.7 kb) regions are deleted.

Ad5.CMV-GFP DNA can be used to monitor the efficiency of transfection and virus recovery. It will generate a GFP-expressing adenovirus that might be useful in your future experiments. Sufficient DNA is provided for 5 transfections.
